Friday 22nd has received a vote from everyone so far ... unless things change dramatically in the next few days then we can pretty much consider that the date :)

Friday 22nd is the clear winner by a mile .... so I am declaring it as the date that the dinner will take place.

The following people have voted / are attending based on the poll:

    1) cantdecide (No preference for food type)
    2) Grim_Wreeper (Chinese, Irish, Italian)
    3) kingtut (Thai, Indian, Chinese, Irish, Italian)
    4) miss_shadow (Seafood)
    5) MrFrisp (Indian, Chinese, Irish)
    6) Red05 (Italian)
    7) queentut

Now it is time to discuss the type of food (and a suitable venue).

There are a couple of food types that got 3 votes which only makes up for 50% so are we better off picking a place that caters to a wide variety of food types ?

So any suggestions for a place to eat ? Anyone else care to join us?
I think a place that serves a wide variety of cuisines would be best as the options people chose are pretty varied.

We went to the Porterhouse after the last meal. In my opinion it was great! Lovely pints and a nice atmosphere.

I'd happily go there before / after the meal if there was enough interest :)
I liked it last time even though I sucked at shuffleboard :pac:

I walked past the "Newport" on Paul St the other day and they have a huge varied menu including steaks, seafood, pasta, burgers, salads, curry etc ...

I have never been there but as we all have different tastes I thought it could be a good option. Any opinions / objections ?

Maybe the website is out of date so...

Shall I remove it just in case?

It's up to you, just don't want people looking at the wrong menu, nothing wrong with them checking out the website though :D I might pop in and see if I can get a print out of the menu.

Hopefully some other places will be suggested by then :)

I don't want people going in there if that's where We pick,,and end up having a different menu on the night.
