So I've been in Cork about 6 months now and can't get over how attached and unsingle everyone is!

I desperatly need a girlfriend, any takers?

or at least a wingman to go on patrol with?

I'll be your long distance girlfriend, that you never get to see. Or talk to. Or contact. You can just send presents to a PO box once a month to try win me back. That way, when you pick up chicks in Cork, you can honestly tell them your girlfriend doesn't understand you.

    Heaving with available flap.

You're GUARANTEED to find someone in one of those 3, best bet would be Reardons or the cattle mart as I like to call it:p

I dunno if the OP is serious but I hope it all works out well for him. It can be tough.

You may want to consult the D.E.N.N.I.S. system, detailed below. Guaranteed.

Jesus I dunno, I went in there last weekend. If they were cattle, they were mostly the BSE variety.

Best place to meet someone is where you'll have an opportunity to talk. Somewhere full of people shouting over the music is not that place. I'd recommend the Comedy Club, or Sober Lane, even Door51 is great, you can chat to a girl at the bar by making a stupid joke about the alcohol spin the wheel competition and invariably they'll talk back. All it takes is simple conversation, no chatup lines (I'm looking at you Polar Bear Newbee!! :p ), no ridiculous overt flirting, girls generally just prefer a guy to be themselves.

Just hire one for the weekend. Much cheaper in the long run.

Bwahahahaha, perhaps the mistake is that flap is supposed to be plural.

I've just moved from Dublin to Cork due to a job. I head back most weekends so haven't been out in Cork yet so it's interesting to hear where good to pick up women

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,718 ✭✭✭johnayo

If you you are a Dub, you are only allowed talk to Cork women. No riding allowed.

  • Registered Users Posts: 189 ✭✭Amaru KGB

Ahhh lads... Took a trip to Cork this eve to try Speed Dating for the 1st time, wouldn't do locally cause am shy (aka chicken)..
    Oh the pain..
LOVE THE CITY but so dissapointing... Turn out was about 90 percent Cork Men.. Mostly.. Mmmmm....now how can I put this delicately... were of the twillight zone variety... strange but true if ya know what I mean...
And the calibur in Cork is usually pretty high... SO Falcon_Returns let us know how you progress....

iv takin up smoking at pubs/clubs, in order to try and meet a nice cork man! you meet some sound people in the smoking areas, just chatting away bout random sh!t. you end up having a syncronised fag break with some of them! still waiting to meet my prince though!
