    Dia daoibh,

An bhfuil a fhios ag éinne an bhfuil fiaclóir ar bith sa bpríomhchathair a chuireann a sheirbhís ar fáil trí mheán na Gaeilge?

Níl mé eagla orm, bain úsáid as Béarla

Please use English on this forum.

The OP is looking for a dentist that speaks Irish.

Because there's an Irish forum on Boards for those that wish to speak 'as Gaeilge'

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=31

    Please no more Irish responses.

Imigh sa diabhal leatsa, a mhac bán; fiaclóir atá de dhíth ormsa - labhróidh mé i mo theanga féin más mian liom.

Sorry OP I don't know Irish or any dentist that speaks it. However I think chances of an Irish speaking dentist reading this forum are slim. For maximum chance of finding what you want best to post in both Irish and English that way you will get maximum response.

Tá brón orm OP Níl a fhios agam na hÉireann nó aon fiaclóir a labhraíonn sé. Ach sílim go seans ar fiaclóir labhairt na Gaeilge fóram seo a léamh go caol. Chun seans a mhéad a aimsiú cad ba mhaith leat is fearr a bpost i nGaeilge agus i mBéarla araon ar bhealach go mbeidh tú freagra uasta.

Sorry for the nonsense computer translation

There is a clear need for dentists to the Irish language. I would be happy to use one.

Speak now if you want my business!

One thing, please you not to use Google Translate to the Irish language be translated into English.

As is clear from this text is not over praise both!

Is léir go bhfuil gá le fiaclóirí leis an teanga Gaeilge. Bheadh mise sásta ceann a úsaid.

Labhair anois má tá mo ghnó uait!

Rud amhain, ar mhiste libh gan Google Translate a úsaid chun an teanga Gaeilge a aistriú go dtí an Béarla.

Mar atá léir ón teacs seo níl sé thar moladh beirte!

Having never had this issue before, I have updated the charter. Us mods, the cmods and the admins need to know what's being said on the forum and none of us can read Irish well.

Conspóid maidir le húsáid na Gaeilge ar Boards.ie
    Dé hAoine, 20 Eanáir 2012 14:53

Bhí tuairiscí éagsúla ag dul thart ar an láithreán líonraithe shóisialta, Twitter, le gairid nach raibh sé ceadaithe Gaeilge a úsáid ar an bhfóram, www.boards.ie

Chuaigh Foinse i dteagmháil leo le hiarracht a dhéanamh fáil amach an raibh aon fhírinne ag baint leis na tuairiscí seo.

Thug Boards.ie le fios nach raibh fírinne ar bith leis na tuairiscí agus go bhfuil fóram speisialta acu fiú, atá dírithe orthu siúd le Gaeilge agus ar dhream a dteastaíonn uathu postáil i nGaeilge amháin.

Dúirt siad áfach, go n-iarrann siad ar dhaoine a chuireann postálacha suas i nGaeilge, aistriúchán Béarla a chuir leis mar chúirtéis os rud é nach bhfuil Gaeilge ag gach duine a bhíonn ar an bhfóram. Thug siad le fios go bhfuil breis is aon trian dá mbaill lonnaithe taobh amuigh den Stát. Is é an Béarla teanga oibre an fhóraim, dar leo, mar gheall go mbíonn formhór de na postálacha i mBéarla.

Thug siad le fios nach ndearna siad aon iarracht srian a chur leis an nGaeilge ar an bhfóram agus gur thosaigh na tuairiscí seo mar gheall ar bhall amháin a bhí ag trolláil an fhóraim dar leo, is é seo, ag cur teachtaireachtaí suas ar an bhfóram nach raibh baint ar bith acu leis na topaicí a bhí á bplé air. Cuireadh cosc ar an duine seo dul ar an bhfóram mar gheall go raibh mí-úsáid phearsanta i gceist.

Labhraíomar le fear tráthnóna inniu a dúirt gurb é féin an ball a bhí i gceist ag Boards.ie. Thug sé le fios dúinn gur chuir sé postáil suas i nGaeilge, ag rá go raibh fiaclóir á lorg aige, a chuireann seirbhís trí Ghaeilge ar fáil i mBaile Átha Cliath.

Is cosúil ansin go bhfuair sé teachtaireacht phríobháideach ó dhuine de na riarthóirí ó Boards.ie féin, ag iarraidh air gan an Ghaeilge a úsáid. Tugadh nasc dó le dul chuig áit eile ar an suíomh, a bhí dírithe ar an nGaeilge ach dúirt seisean nach raibh aon mhaith anseo dó féin mar nach raibh plé á déanamh ann ach ar an teanga féin – ar chúrsaí gramadaí agus mar sin de.

Dúirt an riarthóir leis an bhfear seo nach raibh aon mhaith dó a fhiosrúchán a chur suas trí Ghaeilge mar nach bhfaigheadh sé aon fhreagra ach chuir sé féin in iúl dúinn go ndearna trí fhiaclóir éagsúla teagmháil leis trí Ghaeilge.

Nuair a chuaigh an ball áirithe i gcoinne an méid a bhí le rá ag an riarthóir, cuireadh cosc ar dul ar an bhfóram ar feadh míosa.

D’éirigh leo teacht ar shocrú nuair a mhol an ball féin go mbeadh sé sásta aistriúchán Béarla a chuir suas freisin. Tá sé ag fanacht anois go ligfear ar an bhfóram arís é mar a socraíodh.

    ENGLISH TRANSLATION BELOW:
Controversy regarding the use of Irish on Boards.ie
    Friday, January 20, 2012 14:53

There were varying reports about the social networking site, Twitter, recent Irish were not permitted to use the forum, www.boards.ie

Source went with them to try and find out if there was any truth associated with these reports.

The Boards.ie suggests that there was any truth to the reports and they are even special forum, which is aimed at those with a group of Irish and Irish want one posting.

They said however, that they ask people who posts up in Irish, with English translation provided as a courtesy since the Irish are not at all involved on the forum. They indicated that over a third of its members located outside the State. English is the working language of the forum, they think that because most of the posts in English.

They indicated they had not any attempt to restrict the language of the forum and that these reports started because one member of the forum was trolláil they think this is taking up on the forum messages not involving any of the topics he discussed. A ban on the person to go to the forum due to personal abuse was involved.

Talked to a man who said this afternoon that the member himself involved at Boards.ie. He tells us that he posting up in Irish, saying it was a dentist seeking, which provide services through Irish in Dublin.

It appears then that he received a message from someone in the private administrators from Boards.ie own, asking it not to use the language. A link him to go to another place on the site, aimed at the Irish, but he said that here was no good for himself as not being discussed but the language itself - grammar courses and so on.

The administrator said this the man did not want him to take up investigation by the Irish did not receive any response but he told us that three different dentist contacted the Irish.

When some members went against what was said by the administrator, a ban on going to the forum for a month.

They have come to an arrangement when the member suggested it would be willing to put up the English translation also. It is now waiting to be allowed on the forum is fixed again.
