im looking for a camp site to park up when i ever get there. as for renting a motorhome in this country forget about because they either wont insure u for europe and if they do they will take a fortune off ya. try rental companies in england.

    Hi guys,

Just thought i might be a bit of a help for some of you.. I was born in this city

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jelenia_G%C3%B3ra

It is about 20 minute drive to Czech Republic, and if i remember an hour or so from German border.. It is not far from Wroclaw, Poznan

I stayed here several times http://www.camping.karkonosz.pl/ang/index.html

Room with jacuzzi about 30 euros, camping about 3 euros, trailers about 10 euros etc etc they have free wifi, bbq, nearby pools, tennis courts, parks. Have a look on their site

No im not affiliated with them...Just thought it might be some kind of help for you guys planning a trip to PL. Personally i find the prices ridiculous in host cities for lodging.

Here's the Promobil website showing all the German stellplatz. These are sites where you can park up at night in so many cities and towns for only a few euro and with varying facilities. Pop a beer and investigate what is there along your route.
