2005 fiesta problem

got a car vacum for xmas - tried to plug into cig lighter socket in car doesnt work tried the same vac in my bothers fiesta 2002 worked straight away. i'm useless with electrics - can the lighter socket be replaced, will this cost much and where can i get this done.... cheers. j

Most likely the fuse for the socket is blown.
