This assignment asks you to submit a photo thats been shot from the hip. This means no looking through viewfinders for focusing or composition. Simply hit the AF (if you have one), point in the general direction of what you want to shoot and take the picture. Hopefully with some good results. Subject matter can be anything that tickles your fancy once its shot from the hip. They don't have to be technically perfect because they probably won't be properly focused or composed.

The rules:
-Photos must be posted within 2 weeks of the day the task was set– so the closing time/date is 8pm on Monday 30th November 2010.
-No old photos. Only photos taken with this task in mind qualify.
-Therefore, the photo must be taken after 8pm on the 15th November 2010.
-Photos must be on the given task.
-ONE photo per post. But submit as many posts as you like.
-Stretch yourself – there is no limitation to what you can do to produce the image.
-The next task/subject is to be chosen by the person who has the most thanks after their post at the closing date/time (the post must include a photo).

Now I know this isn't the kind of thing you had in mind and you are going to say this wasn't from the hip but it was!

I wasn't looking through the viewfinder as I had to keep my head up to try and get him to smile so all I was doing was making faces at him while keeping my finger on the AF and rattling off shots as he smiled
