I'm more interested in the Bravo/Passion which I thought was supposed to be the Hero's successor.

The Barvo (now called the Desire) is the Nexus One unbranded. The Legend is the Hero's direct successor

Most sites are putting the release at about April 12th I think

Hoping to get one of these soon but only if I can get a good deal on the handset on pay as you go.

£400 is pricey enough and would opt for an iPhone if I have to buy it unlocked.

It gets a cracking review there. Its a pity no Irish carrier appears to be imminently offering it.

Anybody worried the desire might be just a little too big?

Might be enough of a reason for me to go with the legend ahead of it.

    Another review on cnet.co.uk.

I'm assuming we'll see Desire reviews in the next couple of days anyway too.

Nope. defo not too big. The HD2 is TOO big. but the desire's size is almost identical to the nexus one (same screen) and thats perfect. not too small, not too big, just right. The desire is going to rock!

Sold, the promise of divx is quite a big plus.

Will just wait to see carrier prices before I make a decision.

Engadget's review is up. Much more in depth than Gizmodo's, plus its thankfully not been reviewed by Josh Topolsky.

They seem to have dramatically different suggestions for the battery life! I think it's pretty important to know whether it'll last the day before splashing out on one.

Should have arrived in stores today, plus a demo unit was shipped to most, if not all, stores so you should be able to have a play.

It's really, really nice looking, very responsive, sturdy screen.

If the Legend is the successor to the Hero how come the prices are the same?

Was just thinking of getting the Hero last week, good thing I didn't so!
