PW streams thread *no PPV spoilers please*

    I have said several times on here that I was looking into the Situation with regards linking to PW streams on here. They had been previously not allowed despite the Rugby/Soccer board being able to post such links to streams. However that has just changed!

    ----

    Now there are a number of important things you must know first

    1) Links to streams should be kept here in this thread and not all over the board being both a mess and hard to locate.

    2) You take responsibility for what you link to. Therefore if you link to a stream of inappropriate (whatever that may be deemed to be) material you could face concequences. This obviously should not be the case as people should only be posting links to Wrestling related material.

    3) This thread may be merged with the Youtube thread at some point (after a discussion with the other mods perhaps) but for now I though a seperate thread would be a good idea so that everyone could see that Streams are now A-Ok.

    As of right now we are operating in the same way as The Soccer or Rugby board does with regards streams. should anything changed with regard to this you will be updated.

    Just like Wrestling PPVs, Premiership soccer matches are linked to and streamed all the time via boards so I dont believe there should be a problem here (as they are also on PPV channels like Setanta, ESPN etc) but as said if that changes ill let you know.

    This thread should definetly have a sticky on it. I'm sure it'll help any-one who doesn't have Sky sports and it'll definetly help me to watch TNA more (maybe the PPV on Sunday)

    I dont want to litter the place with stickies but as said in the OP can imagine this being merged with the Youtube sticky perhaps as yes this is the type of thread (once we decide what to do with it) that is ideal for making into a Sticky imo.

    This also means you can expect the charter to be updated soon and we may have a look at other aspects of that that may in our opinion need to be updated.

    good idea, knew there was a reason i made that thing.

    heads up guys, if you dont use the hot topics sticky much it may become more important. We have been adding more threads to it as we have been going, most recently the Bret/SOS superthreads and the updated (Thanks dare 2 defy) TV Listings, this thread could be next.

    Awesome.

    Sopcast has the best quality streams for soccer, and i know theres UFC on theres so I presume wrestling could be got as well?

    Great stuff. I cant watch anything on sky at all so streams are the only way to go for the time being.

    Streams do not harm the sport imo. Im a big boxing fan and when tim at home i always get the big fights in. But for fights that are not available here i stream them or ones that arent good value... eg khans last fight.

    I read an article (was on net, probably on boxing/wrestling/ma forum here but apologies no link, cant remember) that suggested streaming may not harm the ppv buys.

    Reason being there are a lot of young people living at home or without the funds to buy the event anyway but streams still keeps their interest up and when they are in a position to do so they will buy the ppv when they have more disposable cash.

    Its a good point and i know myself when i have cash i will always buy an event as opposed to stream it. Its the only way you can follow some sports here anyway.

    ps caught raw on justin.tv pretty handy last night. its hit and miss sometimes and lagged a bit here and there but did the trick

    yeah jtv is good i got 3 streams on it that i sometimes stream raw or smackdown but i suggest http://www.newworldchannel.net/free-streams/ and http://streams.wmr-tv.net/ they be great for live events including soccer and nfl and all wrestling so check them out

    I honestly don't know. I assume within the next half an hour to 45 mins seeing as the build for AJ/Angle is on now

    justin.tv does have wwe but wwe complains when people stream the ppvs live and they get shut down it always annoys me when im streaming

    True but for TV shows (Raw,SD,iMPACT! etc...), they're grand
