Hey everybody,
I was trawling through After Hours today. I know that the name is being changed around for charity (great idea). One of the benefits of the change is that different threads are created due to topics influenced by the name change (Lonely Hearts etc). Today we had the Culchie forum. This has been great fun to contribute to and to cut to the point I would like to see a permanent Culchie Forum created.

Basically it would be a bit of banter and nostalgia for all of the posters who have grown up in rural areas. I would hope that it would be a bit like Beer Guts and Receeding Hairlines the way that the forum creates fun.

I think that it would introduce more posters to Boards and show them that although it is well moderated there can still be a lot of fun discussions about such great things in life like Harvesters and the stress involved with silage.

I hope you see that a forum like this will be useful to Boards and hopefully you will approve the BOGGER / CULCHIE FORUM

Once you have rounded them all up into the Bogger forum, what will you do with them?

Where else on boards would I be able to discuss the devastating plummet in the price of land? Not to mention the local cailín hiding behind the chicken coop.

I agree with that now I've had time to think! 'Bogger/Culchie' is a prejorative term which Dubs use on anyone born outside the city limits. Maybe we should use the PC term 'male and female of the bog forum'

T'was for the posterity. Sorry if the comedy of it went over your heads. The name was just a suggestion and I am very open to new ideas for the name. If ye think you have a better one please post it.
