The venue has been sorted, and tables have been preliminarily reserved for us.

If we get enough people in by 8,30PM we'll get 2 complimentary bottles of Champagne from the management of Capitol :)

So it will kick off at 8PM and the bubbly will be provided on a first come first served basis.

The dress code is smart/casual and it's important that boardsies are sober upon arrival at the location.

It should be a great night..

    So, will you be attending?

I can't guarantee I'll adhere to those terms. I have a tradition of turning up to these things unsober.
What's the deal with the singing songs bit? Are all the songs organised?

Can I possibly come to the beers? (even though I'm practically just a lurker?)

A big thanks to the General Manager and Staff at the Capitol Lounge on this one.

As you can imagine the run up to Christmas is a very period time for them yet they still managed to squeeze us in. :)

All Cocktails are €5 before midnight, and Mojitos are €5 all night…

I always stumble on Jingle Bells. I think we need to take the carols bit more seriously. Get the numbers, have rehearsals and organise baritones/sopranos etc. Then when we have got our gang we can go to that bearded tosspot on the Vodafone ad and headbutt him one by one.

If anyone has any questions regarding the Capitol Bar door policy etc. drop me a PM.

The bouncers are known to be on the strict side, but they are fair.

    Thanks.

    I'll be drunk (x1400)*

but not before we go in.

Two bottles of champange? Pretty poor offering.

Better than two bottles of warm piss with a hair floating in it to be fair.

Doing the 12 pubs of Christmas that night, so unsure if i'll make it. I definitely wouldn't be turning up sober.

Depending on my bouncebackishness and recoverabilityability from the previous nights collection of events (including tGC Beers) I may or may not show my face for the free bubbly. Thats as much of a committment as I'm capable of making so far in advance.
Oh damn me and my hectic social life. :o

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

If were meeting up to sing a few I can bring my guitar along and I'm sure there are a few other boardsies who can bring guitars, bongos etc......

If I practice real hard I may just be up to playing Jingle Bells on the Ukulele I bought last week.

The chords for jingle bells are

    C , F , G7 , D7
