Installing xp with no cd drive usb suport flopy or network support

    Have a tablet pc but it does not have a dvd drive or floppy on it the bios does not support usb


    Any idea's on installing was thinking of taking out the hard drive formatting it putting the files of the xp disc on to the hard drive and installing that way but not really sure how to do it plus with out having dos on it how would i boot up xp

    Any help would be great thanks

    There is a good guide here

    You will need to get a laptop hard drive to IDE converter.
    And you can download DOS 7 from here

    If using a USB key, you'll need an application to keep the USB "alive" or it will become disconnected after a while, when Windows is not actively using it.
