Please read this thread in its entirety before submitting an access request, failure to comply with this mechanism will result in access being denied.

Users must be a member of boards for one month and have 50 posts to request access, posting here before that time will mean a months ban from the access requests forum.

Once a user has read the soccer charter they can post a request in this forum stating that they have read and will comply to the rules of the soccer forum and would like to join the forum. - two identifier words - (in italics, in the body of text in the soccer charter) must be included in your application. THE FULL TEXT YOU NEED IS POSTED BELOW. Just fill in the blanks and post.
A mod will allow you access to the soccer forum shortly after that. Applications are usually processed once a week, though may be longer, so please do not contact us or post on your access thread looking for an update on your application.
No user is to post on another users access request thread, this too will result in a months ban from the access request forum.
Access to the forum for new users is subject to a short probation period as detailed in the post below.

The access request mechanism was introduced to stop posters who have been banned from the forum from re-regging and gaining access to cause more problems. The process also allows moderators to screen new users and refuse access to those who we believe will be disruptive.

It is not always possible to judge a persons approach to a subject as emotive as soccer from their posting history on the rest of boards, so we have introduced the following system of probation for new users:

The probation period is for a period of 3 months after access is granted or 100* posts on the forum, whichever is longer.
During that period if a user picks up a single red card, or three yellow cards, they will be banned from the forum for three months.
On your return, you will start a new probation period of 3 months/100 posts, should you accumulate one red card or three yellow cards again you will be banned until the end of the forum season (Aug-Jul) or 6 months, which ever is longer.
On you return you will start a final probation period as above, with a permanent ban from the forum as the final punishment

We accept that the vast majority of people who seek access to the forum do so to discuss soccer within the rules of the forum. This condition will allow us to deal effectively with those who wish to be disruptive, while allowing others to continue to contribute in a positive manner.

*please do not seek to circumvent the 100 post requirement by spamming the forum with one word replies, as we may remove access at any time from those we believe to be exploiting loopholes in the rules.

To gain access, simply copy this into a post. Be sure to include the identifier words. These are words printed in italics in the soccer charter.

These words will be changed frequently, so do not copy other posters.

Anyone posting old words, will not get soccer access.

IMPORTANT!

In order to gain access, you must read both the rules above AND the soccer forum charter rules which are linked.

Anyone applying for soccer forum access who does not meet the criteria required will be automatically denied access.

If I deny you access, I will not consider you for access again for another month, so make sure you get it right the first time.

Anyone who starts a Help Desk/Feedback/Dispute Thread about their access request, be it complaining about being rejected/complaining about how long it's taking/checking on the status of said request will receive an automatic 3 month ban from the Access Request Forum and by extension, the Soccer Forum.
