The Theme is Contrasts - Interpret the meaning how you will..

The Rules.
* Photo msut be taken within the last month
*ONE photo per post. Post as many as you like.
*All C&C welcome
*Stretch yourself.
*Next task/subject to be choosen by person who has the most thanks after their post (must include a picture in the post ).
*Dont eat it if you have any doubts.

PS Ive never created a challenge. will this do eh???

Cool - I thought it was a different shot and my 'trademark' total underexposure (intentional I swear!) seems to make it both 2 and 3 d. Thats a contrast I guess...

Took this on holidays in Portugal-

Basic question- on my flickr page it gives me two options for linking this picture. How do I edit it (I presume the first one) so that the image displayed (as above) is clickable/linkable to My flickr page?

I've tweaked it a bit in Picasa to make it look like a negative

EXPLAIN IT!!!!! NOW!!!!!! ;p only messing.as long as it fits the theme in your mind then thats good enough for me! nice shot btw. what sort of PP did you do?

Thanks superflyninja. I saw at least 2 contrasts between texture & colour. Don't you see them????!!! :eek:;):rolleyes:

PP was adding a green tint, upping the blacks, adding contrast, over exposing slightly and a fairly substantial vignette. I can send you a pretty good lightroom preset (not my own creation I must admit) as a starting point- if that is any use to you?

What are the limits on post processing for these assignments? From what I can tell the rules must have changed since the original ones. Also when is the closing date for this assignment?

oops.im not too aware of existing rules.no limits on PP and closing date next wednesday!

First time entering this so be gentle:

Myself and the girlfriend were out for a run last month stumbled upon this place blew us away, now its only taken using a kodak digital camera so no fancy gizmo lenses like some people, lol.

I see the rules have changed a bit on this one. We're allowed use old pics rather than have to go out and take new ones. Happy days! Until I get a chance to try for a new one, here's one I baked earlier.
