Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Having a few problems a couple of games recently. When I try and start them they either close straight away or I get a black screen and I have to restart the computer(ctrl alt del doesnt even work). Two of the games I only got a few days ago but I managed to get them working once(Dont ask me how) another game I have had for ages and it doesnt work now either. I'm running them in admin mode and with compability(I've tried all opitions). I've updated everything and even rolledback my graphics card. Virtua tennis 3, Tiger woods 97 golf and Rugby league 2 are the games. COD and battlefied 1942 both work.

I've a intel core 2 duo 2ghz, 2gb RAM, geforce 8600ms with 886mb ram and dircectx 10. I've turned off all anti-virus and firewall applications, run CCleaner, fixed registry issues and that didnt help.

A few other points of note. I had a virus(trjan agent) posted here: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=59980510#post59980510

Also, I went to the dell website to look for updates and it lists updates that are old according to the drivers website. For example The ndvidia graphics card update on the dell site is from 7/01/08 but on the nvidia site there one was jan 09, does this mean I'll have to go to the main website of all hardware developers?

i honestly dont think you will get those games to work not without a lot of work anyway, very old games and vista are notoriously unstable . If all newer games are working fine then its just a compatability issue and id forget about getting the old ones to work.
