    Hi to EJG
Great place to be-- I learned a lot from here and made lots of new friends.
I'm just in from a bit of fox lamping saw 3 but no luck to call them in. And so to bed.

I made up a caller with a MP3 player and horn speaker and called in a fox from 2 fields away using one of Varmint Als sounds but that fox was to sly to get a shot off at him.
    What sound did you use?
Very still last night the sounds carried far across the fields.

    Hi Veg,
12ga essential beretta mc. Like that one very much.
12ga sbs baikal for my kids to learn. Eldest turned 16.
Roedale tuned 22-250 howa sporter stainless with a-tec moddy, my own composite stock and 3-12x50 S&B zenith flash dot. longest fox 356m (Rifle for sale at the moment)
308 Sako forester which I took over from my father and had roedale put a 22" Lothar Walther match barrel on. 3-12x50 S&B with BDC turrets, carbon fiber / walnut stock. Great rifle.

Mostly used the cottontail & cottontail distress. I shoot in the evenings and would sometimes shoot the shy ones further out if the wind allows.

Thanks again for the warm welcome.
Mostly gear comes second out in the field anyway, but I enjoy trying to improve the accuracy and repeatability of a rifle.

No need for envy, they are only simple working rifles.
    I prefer simple gear.
