I was planning to get the 16:05 train from Connolly back home to Coolmine today. When I got to the platform I found out that the 16:05 was cancelled and that the next train was the 16:41. I made a point of checking the online timetable on Friday and I've checked the travel news here and on irishrail.ie but I didn't see a…

I was planning to get the 16:05 train from Connolly back home to Coolmine today.

Anyone know why? (if because of the match, why was it cancelled?)
Was the cancellation listed online anywhere?

I think is when the train is delayed by 20 odds minutes due to "Operational Issues" Irish Rail make the 16:41 become the 16:05.

The Sligo train leaves Connolly at 4.00 and stops in Maynooth

No notice that I've seen. There has been huge amount of cancellatiosn across the system because of the rostering dispute.

According to Irish Railway News, there was a wealth of cancellations yesterday and today, all due to operational issues. It is not a good sign if Connolly Sheds are beginning to suffer now.
