Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one.

Not a bad idea Alek, shame it's too sensible for its own good :)

I imagine the shorter route was chosen so they only need 1 or 2 buses to run the service?

that would be cool - I work in IFSC and at the moment the only way to get to Grafton St or the Green Line is to walk (about 20 mins).

How would the bus travel between Harcourt Street and the Luas terminus?

    Bus services:
The 90A and 91 went quite some time ago when the 90 and 92 were reorganised, although the 92 timetable has a note about the 91. Its possible the 91 runs as an unscheduled service.

The 91 was never a timetabled service - it was and still is an extra service that operates to meet trains between Heuston Station and O'Connell Bridge.

To summarise, we now have the following rail connecting services:

90: Heuston Station-IFSC returning via Connolly Station
91: Heuston Station-O'Connell Bridge (Untimetabled extras)
    92: Heuston Station-Wilton Terrace
    93: Docklands Station-O'Connell Bridge
