Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Think I played the first 2 badly. Both at 1/2NL

    Hand 1

5 handed, Ive about $300. Villian has about $500

I pick up KsQs in the SB. Folded to Villian on button who raises to $6. He is a serial raiser, rarely limps into a pot.

I re-pop it to $20. BB folds and villian calls instantly.

Flop comes KQJ rainbow. I bet out $40, he flat calls.

    Turn is a 7

I bet $100, he thinks for a few seconds before pushing..

    My move?

    Hand 2

6 handed, Ive about $150, about average for the table. Villian covers me.

Ive been playing pretty tight. Pick up AA UTG. Raise it up to $12, get two callers around to the villian in the BB, very tight player. He thinks for about 10 seconds and calls.

Flop comes 3 6 10. I bet out $25. Folded to villian who pushes.

    My move?

    Hand 3

hehe this happened 10 seconds ago. Bad play? How often do I run into AJ here?

    1) call because you have half your stack in and he could have hands you beat.

    2) Flush draws? I call either way though.

what would you consider a 'normal' bet for Hand 3

Hand 1 : I am not repoping it preflop. Your reason is that he is a serial raiser who rarely limps preflop ....... you should very rarely be limping preflop 6 handed so this signals more good than bad about him as a player.

I don't want to play a big pot OOP against this guy.

    As played i call.

Hand 2 : You played it fine i call.

Hand 3 : Just bet out.

    Opr

    I would bet around $45

    Hand 1: Call

Hand 2: Any sort of stats on this guy? He could be pushing JJ QQ KK or something. I call.

Hand 3, raise way more preflop. I make it about 30 there. If they all still call you can shove flop or whatever.

Hand 1 I think you should check behind on the turn, I doubt you are good here

hand 2 he either has a set or an overpair like kings, Its much easier for him to have an op

    hand 3 is fine

Hand One: I called. I worried about a set of Jacks or A10, but I had half my stack in already and couldnt fold. He had J7...

Hand Two: I folded. He was a good player who I felt would see my play as a big hand, and wouldnt make that move without a hand. I had thought preflop he had a small pair, and was only calling for the value. He showed 33. I felt I had dodged a bullet, but is folding -EV here?

I like your fold on the AA hand. A tight player would repop with KK/QQ and probably JJ there preflop rather than taking a multi-way pot.

So he probably has a set.

Id like to think Id fold hand 2 but I know I never would, Hand 1 is an easy call your hand is not defined and your ahead enough of the time with that much allready in the middle.

    He didnt say he folded.
"Flop comes 3 6 10. I bet out $25. Folded to villian who pushes."

Villan is in BB so he check pushed. Dont know if i could fold this but as said probably hit a set,

i folded hand two, but probably for the wrong reason. I had just stacked some guy on another table and was about to call it quits for the night. Not wanting to lose a good chunk of the nights profit, I convinced myself I was beat, folded, and left the table next hand.

I think I was just lucky he actually had a set.
