    Moved from AH.
    You will probably have to get an emergency passport or temporary passport from the Passport Office in Dublin or something, I wouldn't chance an expired passport. Below is the list of accepted photo ids.
    * A valid passport
    * A valid Government issued National Identity Card issued by a European Economic Area (EEA) country. Only the following countries from the EEA issue National Identity Cards which are acceptable for carriage: Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden (for travel within the Schengen area only) and Switzerland.
    * National Identity Cards issued by the Government of Gibraltar.
    * A valid European Economic Area (EEA) driving licence with photo, presented by a passenger whose place of birth is within the EEA is acceptable only for travel on internal flights within the UK, internal flights within Italy and UK-Republic of Ireland-UK.
    * In accordance with Article 28(1) of the 1951 UN Convention, a valid UN Refugee Convention Travel Document issued by a Government in place of a valid passport is acceptable.

    You've no chance of getting on the plane tbh.
    Go to the passport office and queue for an emergency one.

    You will NOT be allowed to check in without a valid passport . Go to the passport office and get a new one , they can issue it on the same day . Bring proof that you are due to travel this week .

    You need passport they done away with the any type of I.D.

    Bring ticket to Dublin, say there was a death in family and you booked ticket but you didnt know your passport was out of date.

    They will do it for you, might take a few hours though and cost abit more.

    Your information is wrong. When travelling with Ryanair to the Uk if you
    check in at the airport a driving licence will suffice. However if you use the online check in facility then you must have a valid passport or a valid national ID card. Since Ireland and the UK do not have national ID cards then it must be a
    passport.
