This might sound mad, but Id be very píssed @ spending €200,000+ on a car and then every other punter in the area has the same bloody car......

(Unless the person has a Zonda f or a Koenigsegg, then they are a legend!)

Kinda like looking at Mtv cribs, No real personal taste or style.

how did you manage to walk around with all those cars in the aera and honestly not start eyeing up the guys that drove one so u can kidnap him for a few hrs while you testdrive his car .

esp the guys with the enzo's

since the enzo dosnt have a dedicated spot for a lisence plate in the front of the car would it be required in ireland ?

Nice cars, admittedly, but I wouldn't go anywhere like that if you paid me, so I guess I'll never see them. And judging by the number of 'vanity' plates, quite a few of the owners are prize tossers too. What is the world coming too?

I'll have to wait til I get home to see the images (blocked in work), but you see plenty of cars like those in Nice too, usually being driven between Monaco and Cannes.

After a while you become almost accustomed to them, particularly if you spend a while around Casino Square in Monaco. What happens then is you find that your head gets turned by a Fiat Panda!!!!!

I'll be there next week for 12 days, please tell me the temperature has cooled down a bit ??

I have to say its very crowded there this time of year, I was there in May and it was like a rolling motor show, just sitting in the retsaurantsa looking and listening to those cars rolling by, without the crowd interferring !

It is getting tacky though isn't it ? I mean the Astons stand out as seriously cool and understated, mainly due to their dark subtle colours.

What cars would you consider to be the coolest to have there and which are the tackiest ? The Ferraris deffo fit the latter category though I'd still like to see them !

Its 6 years since I was there but I think I recall at the time that the charge for parking your car beside your boat on the marina was something like 300 or 400 euro PER WEEK. So naturally enough there were no clapped out Ford Escorts down there

Took an hour long stroll through CLIFDEN on sunday and saw (not photographed) the following:

A BMW M6 coupe
A Jag XK8 cabriolet
An Aston Martin coupe (not sure which one)
A Ferrar of some description (not really up on Ferraries ...t'was new anyway)
and two Bentleys

I never really liked the Koenigsegg CC8S. I looked at it for a minute and I just didn't like anything about it. There's something about the CCR - it's sharper than it's big brother:rolleyes:

I'm dissapointed I didn't get to see these though.

Maybe I'll see more in Monaco...
