    Can I add ActiveLink. Its a great resource for those in the sector, or those looking to work/volunteer in the sector.

    Also it does break down the list of organisations into categories which may prove useful to people although it doesn't appear possible to expand each category into one page for ease of viewing.

    There are 17 local Volunteer Centres in various places around Ireland. They can find volunteering placements for people and give back-up support to make sure people are getting a valuable experience out of volunteering - http://www.volunteer.ie/
