    Hi all,

    Just a quick note to let you know that UCC Ultimate Frisbee Club is holding its first Cork Open Tournament this weekend (13th and 14 November, from 9am - 4pm both days) at the Mardyke Sports Grounds.

    Ultimate Frisbee is an exciting, non-contact team sport, played by thousands the world over. It mixes the best features of sports such as Soccer, Basketball, American Football and Netball into a simple, yet fascinating and demanding game. To compete at the top level, Ultimate players require an high degree of speed, stamina and agility. The simplicity of the rules means it's easy and fun for newcomers to pick up.

    So if youre interested in playing (there is a pickup team where you get to join a team made up of random people who arent affiliated with any team) or would just like to watch for an hour or so youre more than welcome to come along.

    Entertainments have been organised for Friday and Saturday night in the Star on western rd.

    Ps you dont have to be a student to play/party ... its an Open tournament!
