This might fall under noise pollution.

I live in the Parnell St area. Each morning at 5am or 6am, a very loud siren (like an air-raid siren) is heard from the Moore St/O'Connell St area. It also goes off at around 7pm and 9pm. All-in-all, this siren gets fired off up to 10 times in 24 hours. The siren used to be far less frequent but in recent weeks it is being fired off 3 or 4 times in the middle of the night. I've been told it is coming from Moore Lane area (behind O'Connell St).

Does anyone have precise details on what this loud noise is and where it is coming from?
