Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Remaining manufacturers of non-Realtek NICs

I'm having some serious issues with Realtek-chipped NICs, basically just being the heaps of junk they always are.

Intel is the obvious choice but the Pro1000 CT, the normal priced card, is out of stock nearly everywhere at the moment.

Does anyone know offhand if there's any other manufacturers using, say, Broadcom or Marvel chipsets on PCI-e NICs?

Somehow, after telling me they had no stock, Scan have delivered me 4 (OEM packaging) Intel Pro1000 CTs. Problem solved, for now (I hope!)
