Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Information about the VEC?

I see some good courses for the VEC in my area but I don't know anything about it. I'm on a full time FAS course which ends next week, and was contemplating doing an online course because there was no other courses for FAS in the area.

Yes, it's about money again, so if you feel like saying "Grrrr, you're what's wrong with the country, go and get a job", either offer me a job of F off. Simple yeah?

So, does the VEC work the same way fianancially as FAS? Like an online course isn't ideal but it's much better than what I get off, plus I obviously want a qualification at the end of it. Do the VEC do the same 200ish euro full time courses or would I be better with a 120ish online course?

My understanding is that you stay on S/Welfare when completing a VEC course, dont really understand why FAS or the government top up money for training

Ah right. Well at €41 s/welfare a week I think I'd go to the online courses so ha. Thanks and it's kind of better because I'll have time to work out and everything again while doing an online course, and they'd be more specific to what I want to do.
