Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    In fairness, he isn't wrong, what difference does it make jumping from 10mb/s to 30mb/s if you are stuck on a crappy 1 to 5GB cap anyway!

    It just means you hit your cap faster!

    For me the two interesting things about 4G are:
    1) Low latency, much lower then 3G
    2) The lower frequencies sometimes used for 4G which allow signals to penetrate buildings better

    Fair points...and can't disagree:)
    Most investment in 4G anyway is not for the benefit of consumers anyway but to "simplify" the network for easier management
