Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi everyone,

does anyone know of somewhere in dublin city centre where you can get diy natural hair dye?a friend of mines sister had a realllllyyy bad reaction to a regular home diy jobbie and none of them have ever dyed their hair as a result (there's 3 sisters). she's thinking of trying a natural dye and she's up in the big smoke for the weekend so I was wondering is there anywhere that sells it?

Yes, you can buy organic hair-dye in LUSH. It's called Caca (French for poo :)) and comes in around 3 colours, if I recall correctly. It comes in a block that you melt. it looks like mud going on, but the results are good.

There is a Lush on Westmorland Street and another on Henry Street.

    G'luck.

Natural dyes are usually stuff like henna, which could turn out a bit dodgy depending on her base colour. Her best bet would be to go to a salon and have a patch test done. If she has no reaction then she'll be able to have a professional colour done.

Lush do four colours in natural henna dye.

Caca marron - kinda like an auburn colour
    Caca brun - natural brown
    Caca noir - Black
    Caca rouge - Redish!

The results depend on your hair colour. Also, if you've bleached your hair recently make sure to ask the sales assistant about it before trying it yourself.

The cocoa butter leaves your hair in great condition for aaaages! :)

if you use caca noir and your hair is bleached, it'll eventually fade to green. its great otherwise!
