Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Its going to kick off now. Fair dues to Massa, he played fair.

Mercedes to try and get the overtake done through the pits? :P Hamilton definitely has the pace advantage for this track.

Bottas topped out at 359KPH/223MPH on the main straight.

He did what any driver worth their salt would do.

    Bottas flying!

Commentators already pre-emptively bigging up any pass Hamilton might make. The 20kph advantage with DRS ain't gonna help no? :P

Will be interesting next few laps so

Is it just my eyes or is that Williams back wing wobbling way more than any others. Noticed it yesterday as well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,294 ✭✭✭Mike Litoris

That Williams is immense on the brakes!

Surely it would've been better for Hamilton to stay out an extra lap unless his tyres were gone?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,641 ✭✭✭andyman

That patience call for Hamilton has fallen on deaf ears anyway. 0.4 taken out of Rosberg last lap

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,641 ✭✭✭andyman

    Rosberg got a problem?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,806 ✭✭✭CFlat

    YAHOO!!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,262 ✭✭✭✭Autosport

Probably but if they're doing a one stop won't have tyres go off and Go Hamilton!!!

Ham already ahead by 3 seconds. Does Rosberg have a problem?

Brundle made the point that when Lewis got that call, he probably decided "f**k this" and made Nico do the chasing :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,262 ✭✭✭✭Autosport

    Come on Button :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,262 ✭✭✭✭Autosport

Bottas and Mag under investigation, interesting

Mercedes have swapped strategy, so Hamilton will be where he hoped Rosberg would be.

Rosberg's car is drinking up the fuel...

Last time Alonso had a mechanical failure, Max Verstappen was 12 years old.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,262 ✭✭✭✭Autosport

    Come on Bottas and Button

    Mag getting a stop/go penalty

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,886 ✭✭✭_rebelkid

    5 second stop/go for Magnussen.

Dunno what Brundle is going on about here. He was saying there was nothing Magnussen could do yet complimented Massa for doing what he described was "impossible".

Perez and Button, stand up and take a bow. Absolutely top class stuff there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,262 ✭✭✭✭Autosport

    Feck u Perez

    That was great but jeez

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,262 ✭✭✭✭Autosport

Brundle at it again. He can't accept that Button forced Perez off the track while defending, which you're not allowed to do anymore..

Some great battles last few laps, Ricciardo seems great at getting things done first time and making the most of a somewhat limited car

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,294 ✭✭✭Mike Litoris

Some epic racing here. Ricciardo is a beast!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,364 ✭✭✭✭Larbre34

Ricciardo the best natural talent in F1 today. Vettel outed as a spoofer.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,262 ✭✭✭✭Autosport

    Let's get him Riccarrdo :D
