Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If I bring a machine that retails for €1000 including VAT in England , into Ireland , will I have to pay any taxes. The machine would be for personal use ( hobby ) but could be used for work purposes in the future.

    Good morning,

if you are not registered for VAT in Ireland, you will have to pay the UK VAT. There is no additional duty or VAT payable for bringing the machine to Ireland. If you register for VAT later you are unlikely to be able to claim the UK VAT back.

    Cheers,
