Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey Folks,

we've an asus eee pc 1215b with what looks to be a faulty motherboard.

Symptoms are, when plugged in there's no activity whatsoever except for the power button lighting up and no repsonse to trying to turn it on. The blue LED is continious and doesn't change.

Pulled the hard drive out and there's no issues with that, completly disconnected the motherboard from everythign (including battery) for about 48 hours and tried again.

Im assuming its a mobo issue but just thought id throw it up here if anyone else has seen it?

    cheers.

Seen those chips get tiny cracks over time.. fixed some by cooking them in oven @ 80 degrees for 10 minutes. On your own risk! but worth as the last hope if nothign else..
