Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Maybe you could discover that new disease that nearly killed muamba and that did kill that marathon runner.. (incase you haven't heard of the second one, this fit 30 year old woman collapsed and died a mile before the finish)

.. I don't know I have a theory there's a new disease.. undetectable as it's not known.. Two young, healthy fit people collapsing like this? .. No one knows how? .. seems strange to me.

Maths and Science are facts and figures, results arising from technicalities and clinical thinking...
We Humanities people are more concerned with emotions, feelings, actions and thoughts - the human condition, basically :p

OCD is Obsessive-compulsive disorder... you worry and think about things, or obsess about things that don't really matter.. In this case he doesn't like his book and it bothers him...

    I could be wrong.. :P

Given the number of people who say I probably have it and my general frustration at imperfection, it's probable, yes.

Hmm well do you have the symptoms. Usually your diagnosed with it pretty early.

-Unfounded fears of contracting a dreadful illness
-Excessive concerns about dirt and germs
    -Obsessions about one's body
-Abnormal concerns about sticky substances or residues
-An overwhelming need to align objects
-Abnormal concerns about the neatness of one's personal appearance or one's environment
    -Stashing away useless rubbish
    -the inability to discard anything
-Repeating routine activities for no logical reason

    etc etc

I have very strange reaction to medical stuff/health
    for example
    - I hate unnecessary touching (but who doesn't)
    - I have never, ever taken a tablet in my life.
    - I can never share things other people hands have touched.
    - I always think I have a disease I don't actually have
    etc etc
Bit of a hypochondirac eh? :P

I love having to take tablets :o
