Cold water Problem

    Hi all,
I have been in a bit of trouble for the last couple of days. The cold water supply is coming out fast/slow/fats/slow constantly. It is doing the same when filling toilets, and the washing machine sounded under pressure this morning. I have checked the pump and it seems fine (we have our own well.)
    So Help!
What is the problem, and what can I do about it?

    Thanks

Could be a faulty pressure switch.

    True.
Or a badly set pressure switch.
Or a damaged expansion barrel. Or a leak in the pipes ......
Check the obvious things first, when tackling the pressure switch be carefull (electricity+water don't mix very well). Then call the plumber.
