Is it possible to get to get wifi?

Moving into new apatment near my home place after christmas. The houses are about hundred metres apart with a clear line of site . was wondering if I would be able to connect to the home wifi with an antenna of some sort.

Yes, but for 100m you'll need to get 2x Ubiquiti Nanostation M5's, configure them as wireless bridges in a point to point link and add an access point in the apartment to give you full coverage

Sorry to hijack the thread, but would two of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B006TTELPG/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1XY1F9W9U8FDS&coliid=I2ISJZYWXUMZZE do the same thing? Trying to add wifi to a farm building remote from the main house where the wifi router is located.

No, I know this because I've experience with those exact TPlink access points, unlike Ubiquiti, TPlink lock the firmware so they only work as access points, cannot be configured as a client bridge or station which you need the second one to be in the point to point link

Thanks for that. Saved me a lot of time and money buying the wrong one - I like the idea of ping watchdog though.

Found the Nanostation M5 on Amazon and shipped from Latvia http://www.amazon.co.uk/UBIQUITI-Networks-NanoStation-Loco-2-pack/dp/B00I4QKB56/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1420227572 so will avoid the steep shipping/customs)on ebay.
One last question, can this unit act as a bridge and access point simultaneously or will I need another access point (connected via Ethernet) at the remote end?
