Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    i was in DID electrical today and asked the rep if they had a tv with saorview and freesat that i could just press channel up to go through rte1,rte2....bbc1,bbc2 etc and had a 7 day EPG for both - no source switching required to go from saorview to freesat. Also has series record and works with non externally powered USB. The rep said that the panasonic TXL42DT65B does this.

    can anyone confirm this ?
    Can you put a video of this in action on youtube please.

    thanks
    Damo

    I have a G20B from a few years ago but you have to change the source from Antenna to Satellite.

    The only way I can see this working is if you can make your own channels favourite listing where you could combine them.

    You can certainly do what you want on a STB like the Amiko Alien2. With a good box, you would only need a TV without any tuner and just a HDMI port, using the TV as just a display device

    The manual for that model is in the link and from reading it, there doesn't appear to be an option to mix satellite and terrestrial. I would be inclined to go back to the rep and get him to show you this mixed epg in action (if true!).

    The rep is somewhat correct and incorrect, please read the following thread and the summary which covers the DT Panny models and others;
