Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    am i entitled to clothes allowance in ireland as i am goin back to college soon and will be receiving either vtos or back to education allowance and have been on the dole for over 2 years?i am livin at home with my father who is also on the dole!

    I don't think there is a specific clothes allowance. However you could talk to the community welfare officers about a supplementary welfare payment. I suspect such payments are only really paid in exceptional circumstances.

    You could visit SVP, they take in a lot of clothes and I'm sure they would be only too happy to give some for a good cause.

    i dont think its called clothes allowance but financial assistance!! i just dont know how bad my situation has to be to actually qualify for this! but ive heard rumours that if u need clothes and cannot afford them your CWO might give u some at her discretion
