Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Do I need to transfer to 'Back to Education allowance' for Springboard course.

I applied and was approved for a Springboard course in NCI.

The TV ads said that it wouldn't effect the person's social benefits. I'm currently on Job Seekers Allowance.

This morning a received a letter from the college confirming my place. However the bottom paragraph said I would need to use the course information for the 'Back to Education Allowance' form.

So is this confirming that I would need to make the transfer?

You need to fill out the BTE1 form to apply officially to your local office for the part time Springboard course. You won't be moved to BTEA though, its just the same form.

Are the social welfare offices aware of the scheme or would you have to meet the local job facilitator when filling out the from? And if not when filling it in how do they(SW) know it's a springboard course?
