    Hi all,

It looks like there was a large amount of belonging dumped along the canal, 400m past Castleknock train station heading towards clonsilla.

The guards have been called but are very stretched so might not make it out.

Mixture of stuff including canoeing gear and men's/women's clothing, house keys, glasses etc...

    Fair play Dilbert

Might be worth posting over in Kayaking/canoeing/watersports section of boards?

We got a van broken into today while doing a college kayaking trip. People are going to head out now and hopefully recover some belongings. Thanks for posting

Ah good hope you get the important stuff back.

Where was your van parked as a matter of interest? The ICU or Wild Water??

If you need more details drop me a message. I spotted a few kags, some thrown into the ditch on the left hand side and a red one in the canal.

There's like a vango haversack in the water on the right side too. Looks like most of the stuff is there.

2 vans were in Lucan. One has been stolen (blue ford transit, 08D reg with roof rack, rear ladder and tow bar).
Thanks again for the info, hopefully some personal belongings will be recovered.

Yea a couple of decent torches you should get the bits on the tow path, maybe in the morning a second trip to get the other bits and stuff in the water.

The keys were on the ground, if they are gone check blanchardstown town station.
