Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

New Shower Not Getting Hot

    Afternoon All,

Just installed a new Mira Vista shower - but water is not getting hot for some reason. Electrics and plumbing are fine. Pressure looks fine - plenty of water coming out of the head.

Had a Triton T90 in the same place which burned out due to limescale so don't see how it could be a pressure issue.

    Anyone any other ideas?

Ok with a bit more rootin we found that it was the pressure after all. Feed was coming from tank - moved it to a branch of the mains and now its heating up.

Not sure why there was no issue with the old shower. Maybe there was a different pressure threshold with it...
