Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This is probably REALLY long shot. But, about 5 years ago I heard a song on Alices Restaurant/ Xfm and never found out who it was. It was acoustic sounding like Will Oldham or Beck (singing one of his acoustic numbers) and I think the lyrics mentioned "walking" or travelling or something. There was a really cool, nice part…

This is probably REALLY long shot.

There was a really cool, nice part in the middle where he whistled for about 20 seconds..
Any ideas who this might be!!!

If not, any ideas on any other songs with good whistling parts??

I'm stumped - and the only other whistly song I can think of is "Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay", which isn't exactly an Xfm regular...

It was on a battered acoustic guitar but was slightly more lo-fi than "Dock of the Bay"!!

His name might have been Jason or something.
