Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Voice For Teachers Facebook page reports that a (straight) teacher has been fired by 'high profile' Dublin private school for showing Panti Bliss' Noble Call video and saying 10% of population are gay .I had a look at the video ( recorded in the Abbey Theatre) on youtube and anybody who took issue with it would have to be a sociopath and would probably have a problem with Gandhi , Martin Luther King or Mother Theresa .
How low are we prepared to let this 'job' stoop ?! Nauseating hypocrisy of 'AntiBullying Policies' which don't seem to apply to teachers .

Good old Section 37 - an odious piece of legislation.

They have taken it down and asked people not to comment.

I can only assume that there is way more to this story than meets the eye.

I would always be careful what I'd say in a catholic school in sphe, but I'd give the information regardless, and never would have expected a backlash.

I presume they closed it with good reason, so we'll do the same here.
