Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pdf as a post in wordpress

I have been trying to get a pdf to display as a wordpress post, I tried using http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-document-embedder/ What i was hoping to do was to have it display as a full size page not just a small document like this plugin does. Anyone have any ideas?

It depends exactly what you're trying to do here, you'll need to be more specific (or give us an example).

What you can do is get a PDF to display in a WordPress post i.e. embedded, like a YouTube video -which seems to be what the plugin you linked does, via Google Docs. You could also embed it via Scribd.

The other option is for you to upload it using the WordPress Media Library.

+1 for scribd or indeed issuu which is another as a way of displaying pdfs from websites. Both have wordpress plugins so try them out and see if either fits your need.
