Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

heating element touching coil

Hi, Could some one answer a couple of questions that I am unsure about please. Should my heating element be touching my heating coil inside the copper cylinder? Should the cylinder inside be green? And would it be normal for the heating element to be black with green spots on it ? Thanks for you help.

Totally normal, see any church roofs lately. Coppor goes green with contact with water/ rain.
Element normal also. But if fitting New emersion then tap New immersion with hammer (gently) before fully screwing home to change its angle away from coil.
