Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looking at one of these for a while now... got a quote from thomann.de and seen it on music123.com too...

There's one on ebay now and I contacted the seller about it who is a big martin dealer in america. He has given me a pretty sweet (relatively) price for a new guitar which is nicely below the MAP (minimum advertised price) on his site.

Basically if you are interested in martins, check out http://www.myfavoriteguitars.com/
And if anyone has dealt with them, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

    I've just ordered a Martin OMC-16E Premium from www.myfavouriteguitars.com

I was about to pay €2599 in Dublin for it, but these guys quoted me $1489+$125 shipping. I rang Customs and Excise to see what extra I'd have to pay when it comes in, and basically, I save just over one thousand euro.

So thanks for pointing out the website. I'll come back and let you know how I get on :)

With the dollar strengthening, I ended up ordering a D28-GE from them...
He replied to emails in minutes, sent the guitar via fedex as i was on the way to the bank to wire funds....
We valued the guitar at a price somewhat (cough) below it's cost so the duty due was less.... I know this was a risk as this was the insured value but thats one I was prepared to take...

The guitar is stunning and cost thousands less than it would have been here.

Well it arrived on Friday morning.

It's without doubt the most beautiful guitar I've ever played, and it feels absoloutely wonderful. I'm very impressed with the service from MyFavoriteGuitar.com. The guitar arrived in less than a week after they shipped it.

Nothing like an amazing guitar being delivered to work to lift your spirits on an otherwise dull day!

I used to think that aswell, but I play more acoustic than electric now.. Probably has something to do with living in an apartment block and not a big detatched house with my parents anymore.. but still.. :)
