    Hi,
I'm currently in 5th year and i'm interested in studying law after the leaving cert. I did my TY work experience in a solicitors office and really enjoyed it.
Anyway, I Was just wondering if any current/present law students could give me advice on studying law, whether it's a good degree or not, lectures etc....
Also I do mostly science subjects in school and I was just wondering would this put me at a disadvantage.?

    Any help is appreciated,
    Thanks

You don't need to do a law degree to be a solicitor. You just need a third level degree to be eligible to sit your FE1s. I know a few solicitors that don't have law degrees. If you're interested in studying law at third level, go for it. If there's something else you'd be more interested in studying at third level, go for that.
