I had these is a restaurant in a red wine sauce and I'd love to cook them.

Would I order them in a local butchers?

Any idea how much they cost?

My local butcher has them regularly for about €11/Kg (no waste).
Most butchers should get them if you order.

What's more important is how you cook them. Beef cheeks are a low and slow dish! Either slow cooker, pressure cooker or something like a cast iron casserole dish is needed.

Cheap as chips cut and slow braise them in a stock based liquid perhaps, something like mushrooms, onions and red wine base served with a scallion mash and honey roast carrots. You could braise small whole onions with them also. Price won't be an issue but you have to cook slowly. Pure comfort food :)

Had an ox cheek stew in Market Lane the other night. The meat was incredible.
