Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Evening folks

hope you can advise, fell free to move my thread if posted in the wrong place.

I want to try build a device which has some sort of proximity sensor which would trigger a switch if another remote device comes within a certain configurable distance(5-6mtr for example) of the base station. Ideally I'd like the remote device to be very small so I could put it on a very small dog or a guinea pig even, and if that remote device comes within 5 mtr of the base station then a switch is triggered.

hope I'm not being annoyingly vague, i dont want to give away my million dolla idea.

anyway what kind of sensor would do that job for me?

    thanks
