Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

dell vostro 1310 - loud snapping noise

I've had my vostro for about 5 months now and it's been fine although it randomly (maybe a couple fo times a day) make a loud snapping/popping noise - like snapping an elastic band against something. I've had my vostro for about 5 months now and it's been fine although it randomly (maybe a couple fo times a day) make a loud snapping/popping noise - like snapping an elastic band against something. It seems to come from the right hand side of the laptop. It's been happening for a couple of months now and I'm just a little worried that it might be something serious, or is it just random (yet normal!) laptop noise?

That sounds like the HDD maybe from the location. From googling also, it seems that this clicking noise is pretty common with the ole Vostro series of lappies.
