Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Following the great interest and success of the Novel Fair the past two years, we are happy to announce that we have launched the 2014 Novel Fair. The Novel Fair is a new initiative by the Irish Writers’ Centre launched in 2011. It aims to introduce up-and-coming writers to top publishers and literary agents, giving novelists the opportunity to bypass the slush pile, pitch their ideas and place their synopsis and sample chapters directly into the hands of publishers and agents. Last year’s Fair was attended by representatives from Penguin Ireland, Hachette Ireland, Transworld Ireland, Picador, New Island, O’Brien Press, Lilliput Press, Liberties Press, Curtis Brown, The Book Bureau, Marianne Gunne O’Connor Literary Agency, Jonathan Williams Literary Agency and Lisa Richards Agency. The deadline for this year is October 16, 2013. For those interested, please see the submission guidelines on our website: http://writerscentre.ie/novelfair/novel-fair-2014/. After all, what if you’re to sign the next big book deal?

Hey that's really interesting - I'll definitely be giving that a shot - it'll give me a deadline to work to now as well which is no bad thing!
