110 million is ridiculous. It's going up by like 6/sec right now, which means it would take 212 days to reach 110 million if my maths are correct. So unless it starts picking up in the next few days as more people log in and get the soccer ball, this is utterly pointless.

And 500 bucks for a ball is such a sh*tily high price. Like, I'm only buying one because it's part of the questline so you'll have to have it done for Act 3 I'm betting.

The way I looked at it is, as soon as you have all your players upgraded you can focus on the footballs, but as you said 500 a ball!

No - I randomly saw one in my town the other day and tapped it. It would be very easy to miss it and there is no indication somebody has given you one.

Hi all, I must say that I'm enjoying this tap ball, it's much less of a grind than the last Terwilliger event . . .

speaking of grinds, I'm currently trying to unlock the KBBL radio station with friend points but some of my neighbors have left the game, if anybody wants to add me (blarney_baron) that would be great!

I sort of hope Tap Ball stays around...

I know it won't, but it'd be nice if they set up a league system or something. Although, once everyone got to 5-star teams it'd be pretty pointless I guess... Yeah, actually, forget I said that. :P

Just got an in-game update. It has adjusted the targets for the community prizes. The first one (10 donuts) it's now just over 3 million, down from 110 million. Lol, how could the get the targets so wrong?

I dropped one and apart from the task completing nothing seemed to happen.

The ball is only 40 dollars now! Kind of disgusted I'd spent 500 dollars on it previously. I'm also a little worried because I have no idea if the neighbour will even notice where I dropped it.

Haha! And at only 40$ for a ball now they've lowered the overall target from about 55$ billion to only 120$ million (-99.8%).

If only Greece could get that sort of relief! :pac:

You buy them from the store using Amateur Bucks. AFAIK, everyone is included in the Community Prizes automatically. You should have got 10 donuts yesterday.

What do they do?
I've dropped 2 sports balls in neighbours lands

I see they've lowered the community target for the next prize again.

Some you get when you tap them, others just disappear, all in all just something to drop in your neighbours and them pass them on.

But in reality, the community prize total is incrementing in such a uniform fashion (i.e every second a specific amount is added to the toal) it makes it seem like you're not actually contributing to it.

Would've been cooler if they'd divided it by country a bit like QuizUp. Have all Irish players contribute to try and get the prizes for all Irish players or something.

I enjoyed the event, but can't see myself keeping many of the buildings around in my town. Probably gonna store the stadium and the obstacles... might keep The Gridiron alright.

I've had no issues logging in and was logged in about 15 mins ago.

Have you tried to clear the game from your recent apps list and then try launch it again?
