    What is the best practiced spraying application for coloured lacquers and paints....anyone know?

    What kind of paint is it and what are you painting

    It is water based coloured paint on mdf and a different project is polyurethane on mdf.

    Is it house grade paint or car type paint
    do you have a compressor
    and how much are you planning on spending

    Mdf will take a multitude of coats no matter what way you go at it with (especially waterbased paints). Polyurethene works well and easy to apply if your spraying polyurethene make sure its the right stuff for the gun some of them wont work in hvlp guns.
